The Dual 5550 ushers in a new era for Princeton CarbonWorks with a dedicated all-road wheelset designed around wider tires for life on and off the road. The Dual 5550 was created when a better wheel was needed for Paris Roubaix 2021. The goal was to create a light and strong rim that was aerodynamically optimized around 30 to 32mm tires. With an inner width of 22mm, the Dual 5550 has a tubeless-ready hooked rim that offers riders the greatest flexibility in tire choice and tire pressure.

From 28mm clincher tires with higher pressure tubes to 50mm knobby tubeless tires with very low pressure, the Dual 5550 thrives in any terrain - on any surface. In addition to rim and disc brake options, the Dual 5550 is available as a tubeless clincher and tubular, all with Princeton CarbonWorks' signature holeless tire bed for the best user experience and maximum stiffness. Hooked rims offer the widest choice of tires, with no maximum tire pressure, and the ability to use both classic tubes and tubeless.

At Princeton CarbonWorks, uncompromising performance is the basic design principle. Not only is the Dual 5550 ready for the toughest road and trail conditions, but it does so with a rim weight of less than 500 grams and complete disc-brake wheel sets weighing only 1440 grams. The Dual 5550 is available immediately in Matte Black, Matte White, Shiny Chrome, and Shiny Gold, with your choice of White Industries, Tune, Industry Nine, CarbonTi, Chris King, DT Swiss, and Tactic Racing.
