Automatic calibration
Automatic calibration has been added to the latest KICKR. It automatically performs a 'spindown' so you never have to worry about whether your KICKR is properly calibrated before a race. When you coast during a workout or race, the KICKR detects this and automatically starts the calibration process. This keeps the KICKR's power measurement as accurate as possible, around +/- 1%.

Side-to-side movement
To create the most realistic indoor smart trainer, Wahoo Fitness looked at the side-to-side movement a rider makes. During a sprint or climb, a rider can sway up to 5º to the left and right. To recreate this feeling indoors, they added AXIS feet. These are three different types of feet mounted under the left and right legs that allow for more or less side-to-side movement.
